My name’s Alexander Seifert, and I’m a product-minded NLP engineer and book publisher with a background in computer science, linguistics, and philosophy. Before launching Textshine, Fast Forward Publishing and Kinesis I served as the NLP team lead at Apollo.ai for more than 7 years. Apart from all the AI stuff, I have spent the past 20 years contributing to our small, family-owned, independent book publishing company, aptly called Seifert Verlag.
My interests are rather broad, but I’m most passionate about technology, business, music, and the human condition. This blog is predominantly about Natural Language Processing and related areas. However, I have also done some longer-form writings about philosophy in the past that I still think are interesting.
